100WomenStrong is opening its 2020 grant season on October 1, 2019, by accepting Letters of Intent from nonprofits that are headquartered or provide services in Loudoun County. Organizations that wish to be considered for 2020 grant funds from 100WomenStrong for programs in the areas of health, hunger, education and shelter, must file a preliminary Letter of Intent between 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, and 5 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019.

Letters must include:
  • Name and purpose of nonprofit organization – must be based in or have programs in Loudoun County
  • Name, title and email address of person submitting for organization
  • Dollar amount of grant request
  • What the money will fund – outline how you would utilize the grant money
  • Why this project(s) is important to those you serve and to Loudoun County and its residents

Letters of Intent must be no more than one page in length, in 11-point font or larger, and should be emailed to LettersofIntent2020@onehundredwomenstrong.org as a .pdf attachment with the name of the organization in the subject line of the email. Every applicant will receive an email confirming receipt of its Letter of Intent. Organizations that submit a Letter of Intent will be notified of the status of their applications on December 13, 2019.

To be completed by nonprofits who have successfully completed Step 1 and who have been invited by email to apply for a 2019-2020 100WomenStrong Grant. Invitations will include all instructions and forms needed to complete the application process. Final grant applications will be due by 5 pm Monday, January 17, 2020..   You will receive an email confirmation within two hours of receipt of your grant application.  If you do not receive this confirmation, please try again and then contact Pam Ray, Managing Director at pam@onehundredwomenstrong.org. All applicants will be notified of their final grant status between April 20th and 24th, 2020..  Please submit all forms to grants2020@onehundredwomenstrong.org.

If you have received a grant from 100WomenStrong in 2019, you are required to complete a Final Report by March 13, 2020.
