The Board of Supervisors’ Finance Committee has recommended changes to the way the County awards grants to nonprofits. Proposed changes include implementing a simplified process that would reward the highest scoring nonprofits in a given category, and eliminating both consideration of grants given in previous year and a cap on grants to first time applicants.
